Fall is in the air! Finally, we can start to feel some cooler temperatures and shorter days. There is football being played and pumpkin spice in our lattes! Here at Lurvey we love Fall, and we want to help you make your outdoor space come alive for the season.
Just as there is in spring, there is a planting season for Fall, and that time is NOW! Whether it is trees, shrubs, perennials, or grasses, we are fully stocked to make your fall planting season a success! We also know how much you love decorating your home for the season. So don’t forget to stop by and pick up your mums, pansies, pumpkins, gourds, kale, cabbage, straw bales, cornstalks, and much more!! We even have early fall hours to help you fit your Fall decorating into your schedule. We will be open at the Garden Center Monday – Friday, 7am – 6pm; Saturday, 7am – 5pm; and Sunday, 9am – 5pm! We even have some great sales going on you can take advantage of to get ready for the season! We hope to see you soon and let our friendly associates help you with all your fall needs!
We also have some great fall events coming up! Our annual Scarecrow Fest will be October 11 & 12 from 10am – 4pm! This s a great family event; you can even build your own scarecrow for only $5! You bring the clothes, and we’ll provide the straw! There will also be a petting zoo, a fun house, a train and pony rides! You won’t want to miss this great event! You can also join us for Pond Club on Thursday, October 2nd, at 7pm at the Garden Center. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about incorporating a model railroad into a garden.
