First time I tried Lurvey. Pleased with service and delivery. Had 100 impatiens delivered. Waited a month to post this review and have to say I’m disappointed with some of the product. I plant these every year and one color batch just isn’t doing anything. I’ve tried loving them but I’m not getting the love back. Bought other flowers and those are all okay. But will have to reconsider if I’ll try having flowers delivered. So mixed review.

I was gifted a very generous amount to Lurvey from my daughter. I was like a kid in a candy store!!I was there for hours looking and choosing. So much fun! I came home with three flowering bushes and a ton of smaller perennials. I couldn’t wait to get my hands dirty in the garden, and had them all planted the same day. This was early spring during our warm spell. Two months later, everything is thriving. Not a single dud. I will be back!!

I was here last week, for the first time. OMGEE, what a great nursery. Great outdoor plants but then I went into the covered (roof) part of store with gift selections, indoor plants and pots. Unbelievable selection!! There were plants I have never seen, like a succulent from the Philippines with a pink “flower”. The girl watering them gave me the name but I don’t remember. AND a Mermaid Tail cactus/succulent. So pretty.Denise was very sweet and helpful, presented us with a coupon b/c it was our first visit. It’s a 30 min. ride to get there but I’ll be back at least 2-3 more times next month. Just visit this place, you be so happy!

The center was huge, I will return possibly. Only downfall is they don't have a warranty on theirs plants. Meaning if they are effected or have diseases you can't return. Only warranty is trees and shrubs. Maybe only the home centers do returns

Went in looking for a particularly hard to find ground cover. I was helped by a friendly and knowledgeable gentleman. Very happy to have found it. I also purchased sod from Lurvey’s last year. Several years back we had a bluestone walk installed and recently I ran out of the bluestone screening that we used to replace between the stones when we needed it. Lurveys no longer carried it at the Des Plaines store, but Dave, from the hardscape desk, made arrangements to not only drive it from the Gurnee area to the Des Plaines store, but also delivered it to our door in Arlington Heights, at absolutely no additional cost. If I could give Dave 10 stars I would. Lurveys is amazing, and Dave deserves a raise. Thanks Dave!
