Lurvey Benefit Days are a great way to fundraise

Now, more than ever people want to enjoy their outdoor spaces with friends and family. Lurvey is their destination to find the the knowledge, inspiration and products to help them achieve that goal. Lurvey Benefit days are a great way for individuals within your organization or group to contribute in a meaningful way and foster a sense of community.

Why not ask your community to shop on your benefit day and take advantage of Lurvey’s dedication to helping people improve and enjoy their outdoor surroundings?

How does a Lurvey Benefit Day work?

STEP 1:

Select your desired day and complete the submission below.  Please note, all Lurvey Benefit Days organizations must have 501c3 status and will be required to send a copy of their nonprofit federal tax determination letter before the application and event can be finalized.

STEP 2:

We will review your submission and if it’s approved we will send you an email confirmation followed by a a customized flyer to assist with promoting the event.

STEP 3:

Promote your event!  Make your flyer accessible to everyone participating from your organization and get the word out.  Email and hand out flyers to friends, family – everyone you know!!

STEP 4:

Everyone that is supporting your organization needs to present their flyer (printed or electronic image) on the date of your fundraiser to their cashier as proof of their participation in the fundraising event.

STEP 5:

Your organization will receive 10% of the net sales (gross sales minus taxes) from your supporter’s purchases.

Please Note: Only one organization per day will be allowed, and participants must be a 501c3 organization.

Here are some tips to help promote your event!

  • Make copies of your flyer readily available to your organization so they can be shared with friends, family, and members of your community
  • Post the flyer and event on your organization’s webpage and social media accounts
  • Be sure to use your organization’s official social media accounts and encourage participants to ‘Like’, ‘Share’, and ‘Retweet’ from the organization’s pages and profiles
  • Create public events online (Facebook, Eventbrite, Meetup, etc.) and invite your community
  • Remind guests that they must show a printed or electronic flyer for their purchases to qualify for a donation

We ask that you give us two weeks to review your request; we will then contact you via email or by phone.

Once your application is approved, please allow three business days for your flyer

Please allow two weeks for the results of your event to be calculated and a check to be processed.

Unfortunately, no.  All partners must be be a non-profit organization and provide proper documentation before their event can be finalized.
