How to Measure Your Container

Measure the inside diameter (plantable area) at the top of your container.  This is the widest opening of the container and the maximum size your drop-in can be.

Measure the inside diameter at the narrowest point of the container, near the bottom. The bottom diameter of your drop-in must be smaller than this measurement to fit properly.

measuring the depth of a container

Measure from the top edge down to the base of your container. This ensures your drop-in sits at the correct height and doesn’t stick out. If you have more depth than needed, that’s OK!

Lurvey Pro Tip:
If your container is too deep, you can raise the drop-in using lightweight inorganic fillers such as recycled water bottles, milk jugs, or packing peanuts to reduce weight and soil costs.  For structural support, pavers or pea gravel are a great option.  Whatever material you use, ensuring good drainage is key.

You’ll receive professionally designed containers this fall and holiday, with deliveries timed to match the season. Each container is created to reflect the look and feel of the season and is designed to last throughout that period.

No returns are required. Our team will collect spent seasonal containers when they deliver the next season’s container. This makes room for your next seasonal drop-in, keeping your container fresh and updated throughout the year.

Our team brings the spent container and plants back to Lurvey Home & Garden and puts it in our compost bin. Everything from the plants to the soil and container will be composted.

Our containers are professionally designed by our team using the best materials available each season. To ensure the highest quality and a cohesive look, specific plant requests cannot be accommodated, allowing our designers to create a beautifully curated arrangement.

No problem. As long as we have access to your container location, we can complete the delivery without you being home. We’ll ensure your container is placed properly so it’s ready for you to enjoy when you return.

We offer delivery within our designated service zones, with complimentary delivery available in Zones 1 and 2. If you’re unsure whether you’re within our delivery area, our team can help confirm before you subscribe.

Subscriptions are designed to provide a seamless, experience, and materials for the entire subscription period are sourced at the time of your order. Because of this, subscriptions cannot be paused or canceled once your subscription has begun. Lurvey Home & Garden will reach out annually to confirm your renewal for the following year.
