A Furry Phenomenon
Our recent dog adoption event with Wright-Way Rescue was a resounding success! We were thrilled to welcome hundreds of animal lovers to Lurvey Home & Garden and proud to help find loving homes for four deserving dogs. It was fantastic to walk around our store and covered shopping areas and see people of all ages petting, cuddling, and playing with the visiting dogs.
A Heartwarming Community Response
The generosity of our community was truly overwhelming. Over our fundraising period of over a month, customers donated a mountain of toys, food, and other essential supplies for our furry friends. Utilizing Wright-Way’s wish list, our community knew just what the rescue needed. These donations will go a long way in ensuring the well-being of all the animals in our care.
Thanks to the efforts of our dedicated volunteers and the kindness of our supporters, we were able to raise over $1,100 in monetary donations for Wright-Way as well! This funding will help them continue their important work of providing shelter, care, and adoption services for homeless pets.
New Leashes of Life
One of the most heartwarming moments of our adoption event was witnessing four dogs find their forever homes. It was a truly special sight to see these adorable pups being adopted by loving families. Their tails wagged with excitement as they met their new owners, and it was clear that they were already smitten.
Knowing that these dogs will now have a safe and happy place to call home brings us immense joy. We are grateful to the wonderful people who opened their hearts and homes to these deserving animals.

After the dog adoption event, we presented Wright-Way Rescue’s volunteer coordinator, Carol, with their donation check for over $1,100.00 and several bags of donated items.
