Asian Lotus (Nelumbo nucifera) seeds that come in randomized. No anticipated size, shape, or color bloom to expect. All seeds are tested to sink, to ensure a better chance for germination. Lotus are hardy in Northern Illinois and prefer calm water. There’s only two recognized species of lotus in the Nelumbo genus, the other is Nelumbo lutea; American lotus.
