Thriving in full sun or partial shade, this native perennial is extremely easy to grow. Somewhat wilder looking than most of the well-known cultivars, this species holds bright orange-yellow flowers with densely clustered petals on strong, wiry stems. Robust, low maintenance, highly disease resistant, attractive to butterflies, and deer and rabbit-resistant.
