Located between Fox Lake and Wauconda off of Route 12 (Rand Road), Lurvey Landscape Supply Volo is 1 mile south of Route 120 and 1 mile north of Case Road. Russell Drive is on the west side of Route 12. Established in 1995, Volo was the second Lurvey location as we expanded to give Landscape Professionals more options and increased availability to fulfill every landscape and hardscape need.

Great selection of landscaping supplies at good prices! This is a landscape professional-centric though, so not really a place to come and walk around browsing (in Volo, specifically). Their website lists everything available along with prices.I picked up some bulk soil and they did a great job being careful while loading it in my truck bed.

Lurvey landscape supply is an excellent place to buy material. It is an easy place to be in and out, and they have everything you need. Staff is quick and friendly. Mike is always willing to help going above and beyond. He has helped my company tremendously by giving us great advice. We always feel welcomed at Lurvey.

My contractor allowed me access to pick up some samples from here. The staff was very helpful. I had a few samples I had to return in the process was very easy and again staff was very helpful w the return. They have Unilock pavers on display as well which is nice to see the different colors before you buy.

1 star is too good for them.We had purchased plants and products before from the Des Plaines location, and were happy with the product and plants. So, when our neighbor, who works for a landscaping business, who was helping us do paver work suggested Lurvey's in Volo as a source we were more than happy to go there. Their reception was lukewarm at best. We chalked it up to a bad day or perhaps because it was close to closing time. In the process we were charged deposit fees for contractor bags (3 @18.99 ea.), and a pallet for the pavers (1 @ $22) along with delivery and forklift fees.So, when my partner called to say we needed more paver base, one business day after the original delivery, the person she spoke with said that unless she could supply the original order number they couldn't help her. As if in this day and age of technology you can't be found in someone's database by your name, or address, or telephone number (welcome to the stone age, pun intended). She was calling from work and didn't have it with her at that time. When we asked our installer if there was any other place they might suggest they gave her the name of a different supplier and they had paver base delivered 2 days later for 1/2 the cost.Upon completion, the person who did the work told us that when he ordered from Lurvey they came back and picked up the unused sand and base he had purchased and refunded part of his money. Today when she called Lurvey to say that we had material left over and to see if they would come get it and the items we were charged deposits for they said we'd have to pay all the delivery charges over again. So, basically what they called a "deposit" was actually a purchase in disguise, and we're stuck with a big bag of sand on a pallet blocking part of our driveway.Though we have additional work we will be doing next year, we will never, ever do business with this company again. I would highly recommend that you take your business elsewhere as well. Unless of course you like being treated like your money and business don't matter, then you'll get what you paid for!

Be careful when purchasing plants will not stand behind quality. Once you leave the yard it's yours. The response from the owner does not sufficiently cover my situation. The plant in question upon receipt was not of good quality. Again be careful Lurvey landscape supply will not stand behind their quality.

Lurvey in Volo is for landscape contractors. I find the office staff very helpful, friendly and courteous. Those serving in the loading area just as helpful and professional as those in the office. In my opinion this location is the best in the north and northwest Chicago area.

Professional knowledgable staff coupled with an extensive tree, shrub, and nursery, and hardscape material on display. Delivery was well communicated and right on schedule. If you are located in the Northwest Suburbs and working on your yard definitely worth consideration.
