Last week, our team headed back to The Winter Market at AmericasMart in Atlanta, one of the most important events of the year for spotting what’s next in garden décor, outdoor living, home, and seasonal product trends. Scott G., Tom P., and Eden spent five full days walking showrooms, meeting vendors, and securing product for this holiday while also scouting items that will elevate our spring, summer, and fall assortments.

The Winter Market offers a hands-on experience unlike any other — being able to see, touch, and evaluate products in person gives us insight into quality, finishes, and scale well before items arrive in our garden center. It also gives us a chance to connect with partner brands and gain firsthand knowledge about what will resonate with our customers throughout the year.

Garden Center Trends & Product Themes

Several clear garden center trends emerged from this year’s market. A strong emphasis on organic and natural elements was evident throughout many collections, with moss, twigs, and botanical-inspired décor appearing again and again. Holiday presentations felt less traditional than in prior years, leaning toward rich color introductions, fruit and natural motifs, and more regal, elevated palettes that feel both fresh and refined.

Inspired For The Holiday

In line with broader design shifts seen in the industry, where customers are increasingly drawn to biophilic, nature-connected styling and elevated textures globally, these garden-focused trends feel right for those looking to bring both seasonal cheer and everyday beauty to their indoor and outdoor spaces.

Vendor Meetings & Showroom Highlights

One of the week’s highlights was meeting with Outdoor Interiors in their showroom and viewing their new offerings for the year. Experiencing these new pieces firsthand helped us evaluate how they might fit into not only our outdoor living lineup but also this spring’s merchandising plan. Across multiple showrooms, our team also gathered creative display and merchandising inspiration — ideas we can’t wait to bring back to our garden center to help customers visualize the spaces they can create at home.

As we discovered new items and deepened existing relationships, it became clear that many vendors are thinking creatively about how their product fits the lifestyle trends customers are seeking — expressive garden décor, layered outdoor living pieces, and multifunctional home accents that encourage pairing seasonal décor with garden accents.

Market Attendance & Vendor Sentiment

The show was very well attended, and overall vendor sentiment remained optimistic. Many vendors shared confidence in upcoming seasons and continued customer demand — a strong indicator that the market feels healthy and that trends are aligning with customer interests. These conversations matter because they help us make smart decisions when selecting the right product mix for each season.

Pricing & Show Incentive Takeaways

One notable takeaway was how many vendors made a concerted effort to absorb tariff costs, resulting in only modest pricing increases this year — a win for both retailers and customers. Another key benefit of being on the show floor continues to be access to show incentives, with many vendors offering special buying programs on orders placed during the market.

These freight incentives often help us bring more inventory home faster and with lower cost, which ultimately helps us support you with better variety and value.

Looking Ahead

Attending the Atlanta Winter Market helps us track emerging garden center trends and secure exceptional products for every season. It allows us to stay connected to vendor partners, thoughtfully plan future assortments, and bring fresh, inspired pieces into our garden center all year long.

Stay tuned for new product arrivals and trend showcases. We’ll be highlighting things from this trip both in-store and online as items begin to arrive.
