The soft grainy texture created in this finish, allows for the application of use to be exterior, where anti slip surface may be required. The stardust finish is produced with a water jet machine. The surface achieved is similar to that of a sandblasted finish, although the color of the stone does not tend to wash off nearly as much. It is often used for pool paving, facades, or other exterior applications.
