They hang delicately from the vines, adding a whole new height and dimension to spring gardens. The show doesn’t stop when spring ends, either – though the main bloom time is indeed mid-late spring, new flowers continue to emerge until the weather gets quite hot in summer. Even once the flower show winds down, though, the plant stays plenty interesting with shimmering, silky, ball-shaped seed heads through frost.
