Acer palmatum ‘Festival’ is a newer selection by Talon Buchholz. A few years ago, a tree arrived in the mail from Talon, which he said we should get into production. He was right. This is a fantastic upright green Japanese maple with a spectacular fall color. In autumn, ‘Festival’ lights up with yellow and red. According to Buchholz’s site, ‘Festival’ may reach 12 ft in height in 10 years.
