We are adding more covered shopping areas at our Des Plaines location! We are always striving to enhance your experience at Lurvey Home & Garden Center. Not only are we adding on to the existing houses, but they will also be extended the full length of the garden center. And… we are also, adding a fourth house! This is approximately another 8,000 square feet of space for you to access all of the incredible plants and products we provide at Lurvey, Des Plaines.
Currently, when you exit the west door of the Garden Center, you go outside and enter covered shopping. When we complete this phase, you will be undercover when you exit that west door. You will enter the ‘Promenade’ that will take you into a beautiful world of seasonal color! The Promenade showcases Annuals, Perennials, Flowering Shrubs, Edibles, Vegetables and Herbs, and more. There will also be helpful vignettes to show what plants go together, what’s new, what’s in bloom, and how to group plants that like shade or other unique features.
This new space will be equipped with music, more hanging baskets, excellent signage, and wide walkways, allowing plenty of space for shopping carts, all making your shopping experience more enjoyable. Of course, to complete the experience, our friendly and knowledgeable staff will always be on hand to answer any questions and help you find the More you’re looking for.
